the prerequisite for WMDs has always been technology and human strive for survival of the fittest. And the united States despite being against certain countries from having WMDs such as nuclear and chemical weapons… Has both. We have both Nuclear and Chemical weapon capabilities (and no this isnt leaked knowledge, its common knowledge, if people watch the news)
The United States policy on chemical weapons is never use first, but will retaliate. Their policy on Nuclear weapons is never use first unless prompted. The past problem is that WMDs have been used. For the US, it helped end the war with Japan. The current problem is that the weapons still exist and will until all nations have a general, peaceful negotiation. But until such time (never in our lifetime will that happen.) Nations will happen WMDs.
