Final Fantasy VII Weapons?
Can someone please tell me in a quick guide or paragraph of how to defeat the weapons please i just cant do it!!!
I really want to know how to defeat the one that flies around and has mini fights before the big fights! Please help! =]
Ultima WEAPON and Diamond WEAPON are both pretty straight forward. Ultima requires long-range attacks, so Barret, Vincent, and Yuffie are preferable (though anyone can work with a Long Range materia). Ultima also casts the very powerful Shadow Flare enemy skill when it dies, so be ready (and consider equiping your E. Skill materia to learn it!).
Emerald has a 20 minute time limit, which you can remove by equipping a character with the Underwater materia, but you shouldn’t need to. His Aire Tam Storm attack does 1111 damage per materia equipped to each character, so keep your materia setup at a minimum. Slash-All and 4X-Cut are both quite useful for taking out his Emerald Eyes every time they spawn.
Ruby is immune until it puts its claws in the sand, which won’t happen until it has removed all but one living party member from the battle with Whirlsand. So start with 2 dead party members, then resurrect them after the claws are down. Don’t use KotR, as Ruby automatically counters it with Ultima. Instead, use other Defence-ignoring abilities, like the three Bahamut summons (preferably with Quadra Magic tied to them), Coin, etc. Also, surprisingly Ruby is not immune to Paralyze, so use Dazers or the Hades summon on him.
