PostHeaderIcon Why and how nuclear and mass destruction weapons still exist?

<< weapons of mass destruction should not get into hostile hands  Seriously, How many people really think that Sadam Hussain had weapons of Mass Destruction? >>

Why There are countries having nuclear weapons and their governers think they must have?

Why there are countries trying to achieve nuclear weapons?

why there are scientists looking for and trying to create new mass destruction weapons?

All them are evils. Judge them! Claim Them! Order them to change their minds!

Simple answer…because other people have them. If you walked into a room with armed maniacs and there were no police, wouldn't you feel safer if you were armed then if you weren't?

Will never happen. Its human nature. So since that is the case, he with the best weapons wins. God bless the U.S.A.

    It's an age old paradox.

if no one has nukes – that's good. But if 'they' have a nuke, I need one to so I can discourage them from using theirs on me.

Now some rulers are just plain nutso and think that they can bring the hidden imam into existence if they nuke Israel. Normal rules of rational thought do not apply to them.

Why? Deterrance. If you suspect someone's got a weapon like that, and may use it on you, well you'd want to have insurance against them using it on you. What could that insurance be? howabout a WMD? that'll do. No-one's going to disarm totally. That means if someone develops one in secret, we'll be unable to respond.. best to hang on to these bombs..

How? well people aren't getting rid of them, and they aint getting rid of themselves so…

Countries want nuclear weapons because they believe that they are being set at a disadvantage against the 'Nuclear Weapons Club' countries. Iran might develop nuclear weapons simply to persuade the US not to nuke them.

They're not 'evil' – everyone wants the best, they just have different ideas about how that would be acheived- or different perceptions of what is 'best'. It says something for international community that we haven't had a nuclear war yet.
